IRAN CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK: More Cases Emerging In The City Of Qom And More Deaths.Total Infected Now: 18, Dead: 4, Hundreds Of Suspected Cases

Iran health authorities reported on Friday that there has been two more deaths from the
coronavirus along with 13 new confirmed cases just in the last few hour alone, bringing the total number infected cases in the country to 18
.
Most of the cases are in the shite province of Qom and it is said there are at least two hundred more suspected
coronavirus cases.
Deputy Health Minister Qasem Janbabaei said that all the infected and dead were Iranian nationals however two did have dealings with Chinese businessmen recently.
State news agency IRNA reported that the dead had not travelled abroad or even outside of Qom province prior to their deaths.
As a safety precaution all schools,universities, shops and store in the province would be closed till further notice to prevent further spread of the disease.
Mr Janbabaei also said that "for the time being we have no reports at all" of cases outside Qom and elsewhere in
Iran.
There was not much details reported and Thailand Medical news is trying to recruit a few stringers on the ground to gather more information.
However Iraq has announced that it is closing all border s with
Iran as a result of the coronavirus breakout in Iran.
