New Mpox Strain Found in UK Man Returning from a Southeast Asian Country Famous for Prostitutes and Corruption
Medical News: UK Detects Recombinant Mpox Strain in Returning Traveler
Health authorities in England have reported the discovery of a new recombinant strain of the Mpox (Monkeypox) virus in a man who recently returned from a visit to a Southeast Asian country notorious for its red-light districts that have women, men, transgenders and whatever else selling their orifices for the sexually depraved. This
Medical News report highlights that the individual tested positive for a recombinant form of Mpox that includes genetic sequences from both clade Ib and clade IIb strains.

Virus Shows Evolutionary Shift and Potential Global Risk
According to genomic sequencing by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), the strain is a recombinant form—meaning two distinct mpox strains have combined genetic elements. While this kind of viral evolution is not unexpected, it raises concerns about the changing behavior and potential transmissibility of the virus.

Dr Katy Sinka, Head of Sexually Transmitted Infections at UKHSA, confirmed that genomic testing allowed the detection of the new variant, emphasizing that “it’s normal for viruses to evolve” but such developments require close scrutiny.
Vaccination Urged Amid Ongoing Risks
UKHSA officials urge those at higher risk—especially individuals engaging with multiple sexual partners or visiting sex-on-premises venues—to get vaccinated. The current mpox vaccine is claimed to be 75% to 80% effective at preventing infection. Although many cases of mpox are mild, the disease can turn severe, especially in immunocompromised individuals.
Global Surveillance Activated
UKHSA has shared the new strain’s genomic data with the World Health Organization and other international bodies to support broader surveillance and response efforts. The emergence of this recombinant strain serves as a reminder that mpox remains a global threat, especially in settings with high sexual transmission risks.
Health experts stress that despite routine vaccination programs, continued genomic monitoring is essential to track and contain viral mutations.
The Southeast Asian country concerned already has a number of mpox cases growing among its gay and also transvestite community but its officials are either concealing or downplaying the situation as tourism is a key money-generator in the country that attracts many sex tourists especially from countries in Europe and also from countries like Australia, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, China and the even cheaper sex tourist from India that will go for the older, fatter, uglier and ‘really used’ or “recy
cled” prostitutes irrespective of whatever gender due to the cheaper rates!
The discovery of this new recombinant mpox strain which could be silently spreading among the local community and serves as a wake-up call for travelers seeking cheap sex services in that country.
