COVID-19 News: Many have the fallacy that those who had contracted an asymptomatic COVID-19 infection are safe and assume that they have a better immune system that had dealt with the virus. Unfortunately, they are unaware of the fact that the virus has rather evolved better for viral persistence and is able to disarm all the initial immune responses by a variety of strategies and are able to remain in the body in various ‘compartment’s while it continues to conduct “silent damage’ for a while and till the body is unable to withstand whatever damage that it is doing and reacts!

Worse are those that are not even aware that they had contracted an asymptomatic COVID-19 infection and are unable to ‘resonate’ when certain abnormal symptoms start materializing later.
There are already more than a thousand peer reviewed studies showing how the SARS-CoV-2 is able to disarm the human immune responses and the newer SARS-CoV-2 sub-lineages are an even bigger threat than the initial strains that exhibited higher incidences of disease severity and symptoms as now epidemiologists, physicians and heath authroties are finding it harder to track infections and transmission rates and getting treatment access and health monitoring to those who had contracted the virus.
We are in a situation where we do not have the effective methods to detect asymptomatic transmissions and spread and with standard conventional COVID-19 testing drastically down, we are in a dangerous situation of massive silent spread of the newer SARS-CoV-2 sub-lineages.
We do not even have the tools to detect viral persistence easily and cheaply for the majority and worse we do not even have any effective antivirals to deal with SARS-CoV-2 viral persistence! (Treating viral persistence is extremely complex than thought!)
