In the last 24 hours, official Indian government sites reported on one COVID-19 whereas many media sources are reporting that there were 6 COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours while many doctors from various Southern States are reporting that actual COVID-19 deaths are much far more than anyone can imagine but are often being classified as due to heart failures, sepsis or organ failure.

Some of the so called Indian ‘experts’ featured in some of the local COVID-19 News coverages claiming that the situation is under control in India or that the JN.1 variant is mild should have their backgrounds checked as some can be seen posting frequently on twitter (Now stupidly called X) trying to impress some Western garbage and position themselves as experts when it can be easily disputed and doubted if these same ‘clowns’ are really involved in actual clinical settings, actual research or even in assisting in formulation healthcare policies etc!

India officially reported only 640 News COVID-19 infections for a country with more than 1.4 billion people and where many do not practice proper hygiene and COVID-19 preventive measures.

No one questioned about COVID-19 testing rates in India and actual COVID-19 test conducted per day across various states, cities and geolocations in India.
Updated daily COVID-19 testing rates are no longer supplied on official India sites since October 2023.
While countries like Singapore and Malaysia are declaring weekly COVID-19 infections that are numbering in the tens of thousands though they have a smaller population, it is really hilarious to see India claiming new daily infections that is only in the hundreds.
Just in the city of Bangalore alone, waste water surveillance are showing alarming SARS-CoV-2 positivity rates!

Unfortunately, there is no public access about waste water surveillance in other cities and states in India but healthcare staff across many states in India are reporting a huge surge in both patients seeking outpatient care and also hospital admissions.
The Indian government is possibly concealing critical COVID-19 data as it does not want its economy to be at risk and what it is doing is no different from what countries like China, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, France, Spain etc are also currently doing!
Unfortunately for this current COVID-19 wave and future surges, the general public will have no real access as to what is actually going on and even access to what are the real and actual COVID-19 infection rates, COVID-19 hospitalization rates, COVID-19 death rates and even the real excess mortality rates.
