HIMSS Partners With True Digital To Launch Digital Health Centre At True Digital Park

Taking into consideration Thailand’s current position as a Medical Hub of the Asia Pacific region coupled with the Thai Government’s Economic and Social Digitization Initiative ie Thailand 4.0. , HMISS has announced the intention to enter into a Memorandum Of Undertanding (MOU) with True Digital Group, a subsidiary of True Corporation , a leading communications conglomerate in Thailand to create a HIMSS Digital Health Centre @True Digital Park. The center will be the first of its kind in Asia Pacific.

The new Centre will primarily oversee training of healthcare professionals from the region in the areas of healthcare information and technology. The entity will administer two professional certification programs for healthcare information and management systems:
- CAHIMS (Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems) is designed for emerging professionals who may or may not have experience within the industry. CAHIMS is designed to be a pathway for careers in health information and technology.
- CPHIMS (Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems) is a professional certification program for experienced healthcare information and management systems professionals.
Managing Director and Executive Vice President of HIMSS International Mr Bruce Steinberg and Mr Ekaraj Panjavinin, True Digital Group’s Managing Director of Digital Solutions were on stage during the opening of HIMSS Asia Pacific 2019 to talk about the collaboration.
