Traditionally, inoculation of multiple specimens onto agar plates for identification and antibiotic sensitivity testing can be a laborious, costly and time consuming task.
The Mast Uri® Dot streamlines this process, using multipoint technology to simultaneously inoculate up to 96 urine specimens in a single step.
When used with Mast Uri® Plates, the Mast Uri® Dot multipoint inoculator enables both antibiotic susceptibility and bacterial identification to be performed from the same inoculum for each urine sample.
The 96 pins deliver a standard volume of inoculum to each plate, ensuring both consistency and reproducibility.
Each Mast Uri® Plate can be inoculated in < 15 seconds, which means that 96 samples can be processed in less than 5 minutes.
