CBS Isothermal LN2 Freezers feature a patented liquid nitrogen jacket surrounding a stainless steel interior for exceptionally controlled, uniform storage temperatures in the -190˚C range. This is achieved without any contact between samples and liquid nitrogen, which is completely excluded from the internal chamber. Risks of cross contamination are therefore eliminated, and all available storage space in the chamber is left for samples. The design also improves user safety, removing the risk of splashing or contact with harmful liquid nitrogen.

Uniform temperature gradients are ensured across the vessel, along with a unique vapour circulation system for reduced cold air loss and improved visibility during openings. Full-width lids can thus be used for quick, unrestricted access to sample racks. The Series 2301 Auto-fill and Monitor System controls the automatic filling of the liquid nitrogen jacket and provides the user with an easy to read overview of the freezer temperature and status.
