Meshes used in surgery to reinforce soft or weak tissues such as hernia repairs using the open or laparoscopy approach.

The double-layered structure means that the device is especially indicated for intraperitoneal use: the microporous side in ePTFE, which comes into contact with the intestine, minimises adherence; the macroporous side in PP, in contact with the wall, promotes tissue development.

Relimesh can be:

  • cut to the size and shape required, with no delamination of the prosthesis or loss of Polypropylene filaments, all as a result of the special mesh structure and exclusive process for joining the two materials;
  • easily wound for trocar insertion into the abdominal cavity;
  • easily distended over the anatomical site.
  • Relimesh is available either oval or round shape.
