Its holding company in US controlling Medical Spheres has appointed Swedish IT/Digital Architect Linus Hanssen as the CEO for Med5G. Twenty-three year old Linus Hanssen is described by many in the IT industry as a low profile Digital Wizkid with tremendous skills and potential. Linus will be responsible for managing the current workforce of 57 IT Staff including both front & back end developers/programmers, system analysts, network engineers, IT security staff and IT designers etc including recruiting new staff and team leaders for new offices to be opened soon in various markets including India, Singapore , China, Vietnam and Dubai.
A huge amount of funds is being invested in this new venture with many interesting projects underway, both that has been commissioned internally by the Group and also by external clients.
Major projects that Med5g are working on include a new AI-neuroimaging platform suitable for all types of ethnic Asians for early detection of Alzheimer, Dementia, 'LATE' (a newly discovered Neurodegenerative disease), Brain Atrophy due to HIV etc. The other project is a AI-based Virtual Doctor (scheduled for completion September 2019), an AI-based STD Diagnostic programme covering all types of STIs ever known.
