For those that have been skeptical of Thailand Medical News’ predictions, just keep on monitoring the situation from now till May 2021 for the first phase of the real second wave where even new highs of between 20,000 to 50,000 deaths a day will be reached.
Off course its only when we hit like 100,000 to 200,000 COVID-19 deaths a day or like about 20 to 50 million people dead from COVID-19 especially in America and countries in Europe and also certain South East Asian countries, will people actually start to take things seriously and understand the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic. We strongly believe that scenario will eventually materialize if not in the second wave at least in the third wave. As of today, the total number of global COVID-19 infections have now reached more than 48.2 million cases while the total number of COVID-19 deaths stands at about 1,226,715 deaths (still a small insignificant figure as most people are still not taking things seriously.)
In America, the total number of COVID-19 infections has reached more than 9.49 million cases and just a mere 233,741 Americans have died so far. While more than 58,000 Americans are hospitalized due to COVID-19, many ignorant Americans are still glued on their screens observing the results of the so called democratic elections where they had to choose between two just as hopeless candidates while being oblivious of the fact that who ever wins will not have enough time to change the course of the COVID pandemic and that many of them will themselves eventually die from this pandemic and the fast evolving virus.
We have more good news which off course many Western so called ignorant ‘virologists’ or stupid Western ‘science writers’ will say is not the case,(many are still stupidly saying that the virus has not mutated or that if it mutates, it will end up being less potent!) is that a new variety of SARS-CoV-2 virus have emerged that are so completely different from the initial SARS-CoV-2 strains as the virus jumped from humans to minks and jumped back to humans while undergoing drastic mutations. If those strains spread, we will be having two pandemics to deal with, not one!
The incidence of the jump from human to minks happened in mink farms all over Denmark and humans have already contracted the newly mutated strains from the minks.

The state and health authorities in Denmark has fortunately admitted the seriousness of the evolving mutated strains and are now ordering all mink farms be destroyed immediately .

It has been reported that in 12 patient samples, 7 distinct mutations were seen with 4 radical changes in the spike proteins. The patients were all mink farm workers and all are in severe conditions experiencing conditions not seen before.
Preliminary studies suggest that this virus exhibits decreased susceptibility to neutralizing antibodies.
According to Danish researchers, these strains will not even be affected by vaccines or the current antibodies and the WHO has already been informed of the developments.

The total number of humans affected by these new strains have not be ascertained as yet but could number a few hundred considering that many have yet to undergo genomic sequencings, in certain cases it was reported that current PCR test could not pick up the virus at all.
This will not be the only isolated case of a jump of the virus from humans to animals and back to humans again while undergoing drastic mutations. We will see more of this as the water supplies and waste supplies are being contaminated by the virus from humans.
