BREAKING! WHO Orders Halting Of All Clinical Trials Involving Hydroxychloroquine For COVID-19 Treatment

Hydroxychloroquine:  The WHO or World Health Organization announced on Monday(25th May 2020) that  it had suspended all clinical trials of hydroxychloriquine as a potential treatment for COVID-19 being carried out across a range of countries as a precautionary measure.

The announcement came after a study was published in the medical journal The Lancet which indicated that using the drug on COVID-19 patients could increase their chances of dying, WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told a virtual press conference. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(20)31180-6/fulltext

It was said that the executive group of the so-called Solidarity Trial, in which hundreds of hospitals across several countries have enrolled patients to test several possible treatments for the novel coronavirus, had as a precaution suspended trials using that drug.

WHO also said that the safety data of hydroxychloroquine is being reviewed by the Data Safety Monitoring Board.

Hydroxycholoroquine and chloroquine were initially promoted a treatment for COVID-19 by a certain fraudulent French researcher who was also an advisor to the French Government. However it later emerged that the French research was conducted in a substandard manner and that results were manipulated.

Despite the scam being exposed in numerous journals, certain ignorant government authorities went on to promote hydroxychloroquine  even though  it was lethal and was causing heart failures in numerous patients, often resulting in deaths.

Brazil's health minister also recommended last week using hydroxychloroquine, as well as the anti-malarial chloroquine, to treat even mild COVID-19 cases while the country is soon to overtake the US as the new epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Just like the US, the COVID-19 crisis in Brazil is so badly managed and authorities and health professionals are clueless.

Many countries had stockpiled hydroxycholoroquine and India the largest supplier of the drug in the world, made lots of ‘blood money’ from those deals.

The latest study published in the journal Lancet found that both drugs can produce potentially serious side effects, particularly heart arrhythmia.

Furthermore neither drug benefitted patients hospitalised with COVID-19, according to a Lancet study, which looked at the records of 96,000 patients across hundreds of hospitals.

WHO stressed Monday that the two drugs "are accepted as generally safe for use in patients with autoimmune diseases or malaria."

Dr Soumya Swaminathan, WHO chief scientist told Monday's briefing that the WHO-backed Solidarity Trial had been looking only at the effects of hydroxychloroquine and not chloroquine. The sudden decision on suspending enrolment for trials using hydroxychloroquine was "a temporary measure", she said.

So far numerous other studies have also showed that Hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine has no efficacy against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus neither does it help COVID-19 patients in any way whether when used alone or in combination with other drugs. In fact it most cases it was shown to induce arrhythmia in patients and also deaths as a result of heart fa ilure in certain patients.

There is now a growing movement involving huge law firms and lawyers across the globe to initiate criminal proceedings against medical researchers, government and health authorities, hospitals and doctors who had advocated the usage of these drugs to treat COVID -19 particularly in cases where deaths resulted.
